Adexen Recruitment Agency – Our client, a multi-disciplinary practice of Architects and Engineers company with strong footprint in the Nigerian construction industry, is recruiting to fill the position of: Job Title: Architect Job Reference: 1155Location: Lagos Industry: Construction & Real Estate Function: Design Job Description Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by hand and with BIM Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts Taking and preparing notes of site coordination meeting Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction Playing a part in project and team management Travelling or Visiting regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings Expectations B.SC/Master’s Degree in Architecture RIBA and/or NIA would be an added advantage 2-3 years of experience in Architecture Practice Excellent communication skills and a team player Must be a passionate, hardworking and talented individual High levels of creativity, imagination and vision A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects to their conclusion Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with BIM Must reside in Lagos Application Closing Date Not Specified.
